I have been associated with the Boy Scouts since 1995.  I have held various positions (den leader, webelos leader, scoutmaster, cubmaster, asst. scoutmaster, committee member, treasurer, unit commissioner and Asst. District Commissioner, and District Commissioner).  My current positions are District Commissione, and Committee member for our troop and pack.  Both my sons are Eagle Scouts, my younger son is 20 year old and my older son is 29.

Iave also been the Cub Daycamp archery instruction for the past 13 years, and the District popcorn kernel for around 10 years.  I have been on staff at numerous council camporees, and on the staff of several merit badge colleges for 10 or more years.

 

I have taught Genealogy since 1999 at Council, District and Troop events. I have be doing genealogy off and on for over 45 years.  I am orginally from Rocky Mount, NC, with almost all of my family history located in north eastern/central North Carolina.
