Biography	Mrs. Holmes holds a degree in Music with a concentration in voice and secondary piano from Meredith College. She has been teaching private music lessons since January 2004. She has served as a choir director for the past four years. With the 2013-2014 school year, she began directing the middle and high school choral ensembles at East Wake Academy in Zebulon. In october 2014 she started a new position as the Choral Director at Archer Lodge Middle School in Johnston County. Along with teaching and directing, Mrs. Holmes also accompanies multiple choirs at Corinth Holders High School and East Garner Magnet Middle School. Mrs. Holmes maintains a full performance schedule with the North Carolina Master Chorale. She has had the opportunity to perform with the group as a soloist and in smaller ensembles. Music is a passion and a lifestyle for Mrs. Holmes. She enjoys sharing her passion with others and helping them to realize that music, especially classical music, is not boring or scary. Mrs. Holmes has four boys, a husband, and a critter of the dog variety at home. There is never a dull moment around her house!
