Lou Behrens holds an Extra Class amateur radio license, KB0RZU, and enjoys building as his main activity in radio. He has also participated in volunteer activities providing radio communications support, in particular with the radio equipment installed on his bicycle.

Prerequisites for this Activity |
An interest in Radio, note that only the amateur section of this badge is worked on. If there is an interest in the other two options those would have to be completed outside of this merit badge session. This class goes pretty fast, worksheets are provided, notes should be considered. It can be earned completely in one session if the scout pays attention.
