Biography: 

I earned my Eagle Scout award with Troop 87 of the Middle Tennessee Area Council in 1984.   I attended 2 National Jamborees and one World Jamboree while I was a scout and it is during that time that I learned my favorite hobby of collecting BSA council strip patches.  As a leader, I worked on staff for the 100th Anniversary Jamboree in 2010, attended Philmont Scout Ranch, participated in Woodbadge (go 92-64 Bobwhites) and Powder Horn Training.   I have been working with the Financial Department of John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods Inc for 22 years.  Currently, I am the Director of Accounting with JWH&N handling month end closing and reporting for one of their homebuilding companies while also managing the staff that handles all accounts payable functions for the company.  

Personal Management Pre-Requisites for Class:  

Most Importantly, you must READ THE MERIT BADGE BOOK before attending class.  To complete this merit badge, active participation in class discussions is required and scouts will be expected to discuss in class the below requirements that they have completed. 

Pre-Requisite Homework:  You will need to compete requirements #1, #2, #5, #8, #9, and #10 before attending class and be prepared to discuss your answers/results.
