Biography:
Olwynne Crampton has been involved in athletics as an athlete or coach since 1974. She played basketball, volleyball, badminton and competed in discus, shotput, javelin, hurdles, 1500m and 4 X 100m in track and field in high school. At York University she was a walk-on player on the women's varsity basketball team. During her military career she was on the Women's Base Volleyball team from 1984 to 92. She competed at five National Championships during this time frame. She has also played in women's basketball leagues in Comox, BC, Chilliwack, BC and San Diego. Competing at the WNBL National Championships in San Jose, CA in 1999.
Mrs. Crampton coached Midget Girl's Basketball and Volleyball while in high school and has coached in Comox, BC, Naples, Italy, Chula Vista, CA, Arlington, WA and Corpus Christi, TX in the sports of volleyball, basketball and track and field at freshmen, junior varsity and varsity levels.
Olwynne Crampton graduated from York University with a BA in Mathematics and Physical Education in 1984 and joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Personnel Adminstration Officer. Since leaving the military she has worked part time as a coach in basketball and volleyball.

Prerequisites for this Activity |
PREREQUISITIES: Do requirement #1 prior to attending clinic (bring note from parent for dentist and copy of BSA health record). Be prepared to participate in discussions for requirements 2 thru 6 and complete requirement 7 while at the clinic. You will require PT strip to complete the fitness and body composition tests. PT strip includes: t-shirt, shorts, sweatsuit, socks and running shoes. BRING WORKSHEETS, perferably completed. |
