Mr. Rives has experience working as a professional in both environmental  and petroleum geology.  He has been involved with solidwaste management and environmental remediation.  In Georgia Mr. Rives is licensed as a Professional Geologist (PG). 

At present Mr. Rives works at Henry W. Grady High School in the City of Atlanta Public School System as mathematics and economics instructor.
