2. We will do either a or b in class. The Scout can choose the one they like. I highly recommend a as it will serve as a personal introduction to the class.
3. Give a prepared 5-minute speech in the class. It can be a speech you have previously used in another setting. See requirement #6.
4. If you have completed this requirement prior to the class you will be able to discuss with the counselor after class.
5. If you have completed this requirement prior to class bring your notes with you and discuss with counselor after class.
6. This can be combined with requirement #3. The speech can teach a skill or inform the class.

8. With provided written proof and photos of the event I will sign off on this requirement.
9. This will be done in class.
Any requirements not completed before class will need to be completed after the class. For any written requirements; they can be emailed to the counselor and he will approve via email. Alternately, you can work with the Communications counselor in your troop to complete any unfinished requirements.
Please bring the Communications Merit Badge book, paper and pen or pencil to class.
