Citizenship in the Community:

The following requirements are to be completed outside of class (preferably prior to the class) on your own and provide proof of completion:

Requirements #2, 3, 4, 7c and 8.
Bring worksheet to class and merit badge book.

Acceptable proof of requirement completion includes, Bring in a signed "copy" of work conducted outside of class with name(s) and contact information of the person(s) that approved completion of your work; i.e., Scoutmaster, Teacher, volunteer organization contact.  For Example Requirement 7c requires 8 hours of volunteer work, I need to see something that indicates you performed "what" volunteer work, for "which" organization, "when" and approved by "whom".

I will approve the requirement after your work has been verified with the person that has noted that you have completed the work. 

If you plan on showing your public presentation as outlined in requirement #8, you need to bring it on a flash memory key and use MS Office PowerPoint.
