Biography	Dear Scouts and Parents, Hello, my name is David Cano. Throughout my scouting career I have earned my Eagle Scout Award and all 121 Merit Badges. Also as a scout I held the positions of SPL, ASPL, and PL for Troop 1776 out of Marietta, GA. Currently, I am an Senior Pre-Med Biology Major at Georgia Southern University. While in College, I have held various tutoring positions in the sciences and have conducted extensive research in the fields of Chemistry and Biology. Having said that, I look forward to meeting with the Scouts, sharing my story, and helping them move one step closer to becoming an Eagle. Sincerely, David Cano Eagle Scout Class of ‘04
Why I am qualified to teach Chemistry	Currently, I am going thru the Pre-Med program at Georgia Southern University and work for the Chemistry Department as a Lab Technician. I am part of a research team working on anti cancer drug synthesis under the mentor ship of Dr. J. DiCesare in the CHEMISTRY Department at Georgia Southern University. I tutor chemistry to college students. Traveled to San Diego, California representing my university at the American Chemistry Society NACS national Meeting, on March 25- 29 2012.
