BIOGRAPHY:
Completed 4 quarters of drafting courses while a student at Sprayberry High School. At Georgia Southern University completed coursers in technical drafting and CAD/CAM.
Beginning in 1985 worked as an engineering intern for several years; responsible for drafting mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems for various commercial and institutional projects. Received supplemental training on AutoCAD and Micostation CAD software packages. Member of AutoCAD user group. As a mechanical engineer with 22+ years of engineering design experience continue to use drafting skills on a daily basis.
DRAFTING PREREQUISITES:
1. Buy or borrow the Drafting Merit Badge book and then READ it.
2. Bring two No. 2 pencils or mechanical pencils.
I will provide 11x17 size drawing paper for you to use in class.
