Biography |
Born on November 30, 1977, in Atlanta, Georgia State Representative Matt Dollar graduated from Pope High School in Cobb County. He was a HOPE scholar and graduated from the Honor’s Program cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia.
Dollar was first elected as a member of the Georgia General Assembly in 2002. He represents House District 45, which includes East Cobb County.
Dollar is Chairman of the Interstate Cooperation Committee and serves on the House Appropriations, Transportation, and Insurance Committees. He also serves on the Legislative Oversight Committee to Georgia World Congress Center Authority. Outside of his legislative duties, Dollar works as a commercial real estate broker. |
