Why I am qualified to teach
Chemistry

Mr. Gordon has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Berry College. He is employed as a Forensic Alcohol Toxicologist - Chemist by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation: Division of Forensic Sciences.  Mr. Gordon is a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the International Union for Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), and the Clandestine Laboratory Investigating Chemists Assosciation (CLIC).

Activity:

With the help of an adult, Cut an onion into small pieces and separate into 3 small portions. Leave one portion raw, cook the second portion until the onions are translucent, and cook the third portion until the onions are caramelized (brown in color).

 

Describe the taste of each type of onion.
