You must first download the Leader's Event Guide http://www.mac-bsa.org/bs_details.aspx?ID=589. Once you have read it and understand the procedures for the college, please contact Jim Bunch, Dean, at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive access to the registration system. It is important that you understand the registration procedures for this event before signing up your unit!!!
Please make sure to read through the published Merit Badge College 2009 Leader's Guide before you register and for more detailed instructions.
One (and only one) unit leader or point of contact will be responsible for registering the members of their unit and providing an e-mail address to facilitate communications with each unit. You will also be asked to provide a cell phone contact number of the leader that will be in charge of the boys on-site the day of the event. This is so we can quickly locate you in the event a situation occurs that requires your attention.
Please be advised that each Scout may ONLY register for one Citizenship merit badge. The Citizenship merit badges are normally the most popular requested at events of this type and we want to give every Scout the opportunity to earn at least one Eagle-required merit badge at the college.
Scouts that have not yet attained the rank of First Class Scout may only register for one Eagle-required merit badge.
Please remember to register all adults and secure a tour permit from your home council.
To ensure that each Scout has the best experience at our event, units are required to have one adult in attendance for every four Scouts registered. Some classes require adult assistance to help the instructor complete the lesson plan for that merit badge.
IMPORTANT: ALL ADULTS WHO WILL
BE ATTENDING MUST REGISTER FOR
