Notice!!! Meritbadge.Info will switch to the new site with BSA validation Friday morning March 13th.
If you wish to start using this site today, click here to launch meritbadge.info/mbn2
Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.
We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.
Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.
How will we do this?
What should you do?
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info. Let others in your unit know they should do the same. We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Sponsor Information |
Alpha Phi Omega is a national co-ed service fraternity founded in 1925 on the principles of Scouting. Keeping with our Scouting heritage and spirit of service, the chapter hosts youth achievement days every year. We hope to continue these traditions and bring more university resources together. At each of our workshops, boys will try and complete as many requirements for their badge of choice as possible during the allotted time, while still giving each requirement the time it deserves.
As in the past, we will also be offering free adult training.
EVERY SCOUT DESERVES A TRAINED LEADER
The Hawkeye Area Council - Leader Education And Development team is offering a variety of adult leader educational sessions during this event. This is an opportunity to learn something new that will improve your unit - and, it doesn’t cost you any extra time or money since you will be here for your Scouts anyway.
Order: Class topic, Class instructor, Registration title
Morning sessions:
Advanced Leadership for All, Victor Stepper, GEN Advanced Ldr Workshop
Adult CPR / AED, Jay Lash, GEN Adult CPR **** Extra Cost $25 collected at beginning of class ****
Afternoon sessions:
Unit Commisoner Basic Training, Bruce Dolder, COM Comissoner Basic Training
Camping and BSA High Adventure Training, Victor Stepper, BOS High Adenture
Please register adults for sessions just as you would register Scouts. Sessions are identified as "ADULT" under prerequisites.
Registration fee is $10.00 per Scout per class and the deadline to register is February 23rd. e.g. If a student takes Energy in the morning, and chemistry in the afternoon, that is a total of $20. If a student just takes a whole day class, like First Aid, that only costs $10. Sessions are marked on the event as 0 for all day, 1 for morning, and 2 for the afternoon.
