Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Description
This Merit Badge Fair is a two day event with a 90 day spread between events. The first day is 22 November 2014 and the second day is 21 February 2015. It is anticipated that any requirements not completed on the first day can be completed on the second day. It is not expected or required that anyone must attend both days. Any Scout can attend any one or all of the 4 sessions (two sessions on each day). All participants are encouraged to follow up with their merit badge fair counselor or a unit counselor in order to complete any outstanding requirements. On 21 Feb following the two sessions there will be time for scouts to meet with Counselors about requirements from the 22 Nov event. The building will open for Scouts at 7:30 with session 1 starting at 8:00. Lunch will be at 11:00 and session 2 will begin at 11:30. Session 3 will start at 2:30 which is just for those that need to follow up from the November event.

Registration for the district will be open by the 9th of February. On the 12th it will be open for anyone. If you have any problems with registration please use the email method discribed as back up in the leaders guide.
Payment Instructions for the Unit
The registration fee for attending classes at this Merit Badge Fair has been waived through sponsorship by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
