Notice!!! Meritbadge.Info will switch to the new site with BSA validation Friday morning March 13th.
If you wish to start using this site today, click here to launch meritbadge.info/mbn2
Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.
We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.
Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.
How will we do this?
What should you do?
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info. Let others in your unit know they should do the same. We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

The Monticello Merit Mania(M3) is hosted by Troop 66
Please join us for a great day of merit badge classes taught by enthusiastic scout leaders, dedicated career professionals and avid hobbyists. Troop 66 has partnered with the Monticello High School, Camp Courageous of Iowa and local business owners to host this Monticello Merit Mania(M3). We have great accessible facilities and qualified and enthusiastic merit badge counselors to help the scouts learn and be successful.
To earn a merit badge at this workshop, you must complete the prerequisites ahead of class, look over and be familiar with the merit badge book before class, and participate fully in class while you are attending the merit badge mania. Leaders should know their scouts and help them register for appropriate merit badges for their age and rank.
Scouts may only register for ONE Eagle required merit badge class!
Scouts are expected to arrive in their class A uniform and be prepared for class. Please bring proof of your prerequisites being completed. Blue card(s) will be handed out by our merit badge counselors.

Counselor Information |
We ask that you have an adult contact person who will be attend the workshop with your scouts. We will need their phone number for emergencies. All release forms must be turned in to the registration table.
**Some merit badge sessions will be going to off site locations, some will be for the entire class and some will be for a short field trip to meet a requirement. I will send an email close to the event that will have the permission slip indluded if needed. Some merit badges(swimming and disability awareness) will be taking the Camp Courageous bus to your location and you will need a signed release form from Camp Courageous as well.
ONCE YOUR TROOP HAS SIGNED UP, PLEASE SEND A LIST OF ADULT VOLUNTEERS TO Lynette. We need at least one adult additional adult in each session to provide two-deep leadership with the merit badge counselor. It is CRITICAL to the success that we have adults that will sit in sessions.
The Scout Oath, the Law, and the Outdoor Code shall be the guiding behavior for our workshop. A Scout whose conduct is not consistent with the code will be directed to leave the campus immediately. Adequate supervision must be provided by each participating unit.
No siblings or non-registered youth will be allowed in classrooms
