Create, register, and attend a virtual event

Setup the virtual event

• Create a new event with the usual information. Set the "SESSION" to Virtual and include the word Virtual at the start of the Title
• Add an activity. Set the Session to "VIRTUAL"
• Publish the event so it appears on the maps page

Register for the virtual event

• Register the same way you would register for an in-person event

Attend the virtual event

• Copy the URL in the "location" field on the event listing into your browser
• Follow instructions from the event details

After the virtual event

• Have the counselor edit the class details and confirm attendance, describe all merit badge requirements completed, and create a detailed paper trail explaining the completion status
