If you are having trouble registering scouts, carefully read the information on the help tab.
If you send an email that does not include the information we need to help you, it wastes time and will get promptly deleted.
Test drive the new site (in progress) at New Meritbadge.Info.Leave comments at our Facebook page.

Notice!!! Meritbadge.Info will switch to the new site with BSA validation Friday morning March 13th.

If you wish to start using this site today, click here to launch meritbadge.info/mbn2

Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

How will we do this?

What should you do?
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Sponsor Information
This event is sponsored by Troop 26 in the Eagle Trail District of the Circle Ten Council located in Melissa, TX.  This is an LDS Church Chartered Unit.  The primary purpose of the event is to reach out and provide opportunity for scouts and adult scout leaders living outside the North Dallas Urban areas.  The communities this event is intended to serve include Sherman, Durant, Bonham, Anna, Van Alstyne, Princeton, Farmersville, Celina and the Melissa areas.  This is the first annual event at this location.  This event is set up on a first come first served basis.
Description
This Merit Badge Pow Wow and adult training event is a two weekend event.  Most all adult training classes will be completed in one class meeting.  All Merit Badge classes will require two classroom meetings for each session unless otherwise indicated.  The first class meets on November 7th.  The second class meets on November 21st.  Most classes are two hours long.  Blue cards will not be issued but a report will be distributed (via e-mail) to each registered student.

The first class sessions begins at 8:00 AM and the last class sessions end at 12:00 noon.  Because some classes are only one hour long there is the potential to register for 4 classes.  However, most young men will only be able to sign up for two or three classes. Please make sure you do not overlap classes or sign up for more than one class occurring at the same time.
Counselor Information
Merit Badge work sheets will be provided for each student registered in your class.  Please distribute these to each student and return these work sheets to the event sponsors at the end of your classes.  If a student wishes to take the worksheets home to keep working on the requirements, have them take photos of their worksheets with their cell phones or write down what they need to be complete.  Also, turn in the Merit Badge Requirement Summary & Attendance sheet after each class.

You will need to provide your own projectors and multi media presentation equipment.  You will also need a multi outlet extension cord if you use this type of equipment.  We will provide chalk and erasiers for you to use on the chalkboards located in each classroom.  Also, please bring all displays and tools you may need.  Please call or write if you have other questions or needs.

Please note that except for bottled water, no food or drink is allowed inside the building.
Unit Sign-up Instructions
Sign-ups are on an individual basis.  Unfortunately group sign ups can not be accomodated.  If you have questions please e-mail Mark Williams.
