  • Find out about three career opportunities in aviation
  • Pick one and find out the education, training, and experience required for this profession
Parents and siblings are invited to attend the session at the airport when we cover 2b and 4a.  All family members will be invited to sit in the airplane in the pilot or co-pilot seat.  Bring a camera for photos.  Candidates should be in class A uniform.  Any siblings who attend in Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Brownie, or Girl Scout uniform will receive a set of junior pilot wings.
Boy Scouts studying for the Aviation Merit badge are held to a higher standard - to receive a set of junior pilot wings, you must earn it by determining the aviation significance of the vfr1200 in my e-mail address.  This is NOT a requirement for the Merit Badge and is completely optional.  It's just for fun (and to teach you just a tiny bit more about aviation - that's a hint).
