Biography	I am a mechanical engineer by trade, and I work in the Aerospace and Optics industry. My hobbies include photography, woodworking, sailing, golf, and many outdoor activities.
Why I am qualified to teach Photography	I have been an amature photographer for over 25 years. I started with a 35 mm film camera and was taught by my wife. I later took courses as part of the Kodak Camera Club in the 1990's, and have continued to explore this hobby for mostly outdoor and sports photography. I work with a Nikon digital SLR mostly, but do also use point and shoot and cell phone cameras for various situations.
Prerequisites for this Activity	Requirements 1, 2 and 3 are pre requisites for this merit badge. Please, work on them before coming to a merit badge workshop so we can have a useful discussion during the session. If you have your own camera, feel free to work ahead on requirements 4-7. We can discuss any questions you have during session, but I do plan to use a large portion of our workshop for completing these four requirements in groups. Please, bring a camera and your merit badge worksheet to class.
