Why I am qualified to teach
Robotics |
This merit badge is brand new. We have several courses at North Arkansas College that relate to robotics and electronics. Northark has been a hub for the local BEST robotics competition for several years. This year we are participating in the FIRST FRC competition. The team will consist of high school students from area high schools.

Prerequisites for this Activity |
During the day we will complete requirements 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7. Requirement 4 involves the design and building of a robot and keeping a notebook on the project. Requirement 5 is to demonstrate the robot from requirement 4 and to evaluate its performance. We will not have time to do 4 and 5 during the one day session but I will discuss several options and opportunities with the class.
