Why I am qualified to teach Photography |
Professional photographer, Hal Cook began his career in 1994 under the tutalage of some of Atlanta's best commercial photographers. In 2002, Cook moved to Greenville, SC to photograph portraits, weddings, academia, and corporate needs for Bob Jones University. In 2005, Cook accept the supervisor position at Unusual Films Photographic studio and piloted the new photography minor for BJU. In 2011, while maintaining his supervisor position and lead photographer for the school, Cook left his teaching role and joined BSA Troop 519 as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Currently, Cook is supervisor over photography for BJU's marketing team. |
Prerequisites for this Activity |
(1) Bring a digital camera with ability to control ISO, shutter speed, and aperture settings.
(2) Before arriving, read the photography merit badge pamplet to familiarize yourself to the terms and requirements of the course.
(3) Bring pen/pencil and paper for note taking.
(4) Bring warm clothes for a fieldtrip (if weather permits.)
(5) Bring a good attitude and a desire to learn. |
