Description
This event was created by utilizing the tools outlined in the First Aid Discovery (FAD) National Platform for Community Service. Scout Leaders and healthcare organizations are encouraged to replicate this event to teach the Boy Scout First Aid Merit Badge and the Girl Scouts Patch by using FAD's guidelines

Scouts will be provided with enhanced simulation lab experience to be fully prepared in first aid situations. The Wellstar School of Nursing Student Nurse's Association and the Georgia Association of Nursing students will be instructing the scouts through interactive activities. This program will be supervised by Kennesaw State University Faculty and sponsored by Friends of 1776, Inc.

We may email class information prior to the merit badge event. In the spirit of BSA Youth Protection guidelines, please provide an email address for the Scouts parents rather than the individual Scout. The Scoutmaster should not use his email address to register all boys in his troop.
