Chickasaw Council Event. THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO PARTICIPANTS IN SCOUTBASE 2008 ONLY. DO NOT REGISTER UNLESS UNIT IS ALREADY REGISTERED AND PAID FOR SCOUTBASE 2008.


Description
Chickasaw Council high-adventure, three day jamboree. 12,000 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing Scouts from West Tennessee, North Mississippi and Northeast Arkansas are expected at this event. Two lakes, 48,000 square feet of climate-controled space, and the G. W. Henderson Aquatic center. There will be dozens of activities for scouts, including climbing towers, monkey bridges, handicrafts, fly casting, matchless fire building and a survival camp. There will be continuous demonstrations by experts.
Counselor Information
Full Merit Badges will be offered in the Midway, Pool, and Lakefront and other areas. A merit badge checkoff sheet will be provided to each Midway class counselor. He/she will check off the requirements earned by each scout and will return the sheet to the Midway information area. See Meritbadge.com for a complete list of badge requirements.
Unit Sign-up Instructions
YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AND PAID FOR SCOUTBASE TO ATTEND MERIT BADGE SESSIONS. SEE SCOUTBASEBSA.ORG FOR UNIT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS.
Preregistration for Midway classes is BY TROOP. Individual scout registrations will not be accepted. Please check registration site often. Scout should purchase, read, and bring merit badge book and all prerequisites to class. AM classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at noon, unless otherwise indicated. PM classes begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.

WE MUST HAVE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS FOR EACH SCOUT.

The Counselor may wish to contact them before or after class for instruction.

Payment Instructions for the Unit
Classes do NOT require additional fees.
