Description


The 1500 acres of Garland Scout Ranch, nestled in the
woodlands of Northwest Louisiana, invites your scouts to join us for one or
more of our weekly 2010 Summer Camp sessions.  Our program areas include:
Aquatics, Outdoor Skills, Nature, Shooting Sports, Handicraft, first-year
foundation programs which we call, "Trail to First Class (TFC)", and
our Star to Eagle Program (STEP).  These programs, along with activities
designed for all scouts and leaders, offer something for just about everyone.



Counselor Information
Program Sessions are as follows:

Session 1 -   6:00 -   7:30 am
Session 2 -   9:00 - 10:15 am
Session 3 - 10:30 - 11:45 am
Session 4 -   1:30 -   2:45 pm
Session 5 -   3:00 -   4:15 pm
Session 6 -   6:00 pm (Free Period)
Session 7 -   7:00 -   8:30 pm
Session 8 -   8:00 - 10:00 pm

Unit Sign-up Instructions


Unit sign-ups must be conducted by the Unit Leader. 
Unit leaders must complete the Summer Camp
Registration Form
in order to receive a log in and password which will
allow you to register your unit.

Once you've completed your unit registrations, please print out the registration form and submit, along with your registration fees, to the Summer Camp Registrar at the W.C. Rasberry Service Center (Norwela Council).



Payment Instructions for the Unit


Camp fees:  $185.00 per scout and $45.00 per adult (one
free adult for every eight scouts, with a maximum of four free adults per
unit).  A $25.00 deposit per scout and leader is due to the Norwela
Council NO LATER THAN May 15th.  The balance of camp fees will be due
anytime after May 15th or at camp registration.  Campers who have not paid
their deposit by May 15th will be subject to an increase in camp fees of
$40.00, bringing the total to $225.00.


Additional week at camp is $120.00.


In order to reserve a campsite, a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is
due.  Campsites are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Directions to the Event


From Shreveport take I-49 South to the Stonewall exit (191).
Go right and follow the two-lane road for approximately 4 miles to Hwy. 171. At
Hwy. 171 turn left for approximately 5 miles to the entrance of the camp on the
right.
