Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Description
Webelos scouts may sign up for two activity pin classes (one morning and one afternoon).  



Sign in starts at 9:00 a.m.



Session 1 - 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.



Lunch break - 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.



Session 2 - 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.



Lunch will be sold. 1 hot dog will be $5.00 and 2 hot dogs will be $6. Both will come with chips, a drink, and candy or cookie.  Bring cash or check (payble to Troop 191) to pay for the lunch that day.  If you wish to purchase a lunch, please e-mail Thomas Newsom at thomasjnewsom@gmail.com with the scouts name and whether they want a one or two hot dog lunch



Each Den/Pack needs to have at least one adult for every five boys at all times.



All necessary BSA requirements will be completed within the class section, unless noted otherwise.  



Scientist:  Requirement # 3 on the Scientist Belt Loop will not be completed.  



Readyman:  Requirement # 1 needs to be completed before coming to class.



Requirements will be checked off individually and must be earned.  Any Scout not participating in a requirement activity will not be given credit for the requirement.



Parents/leaders, please understand that the class may move at a fairly fast pace and the instructor will be limited in the amount of one-on-one attention given.  If you feel a child may need special attention, we encourage you to get involved in the activities to assist the child.  Our job is to help your child succesfully complete the requirements to earn the pin.



Attire:  Webelos are encouraged to wear their uniforms.



Webelos:  Please remember to follow the Scout Oath and Law!

Unit Sign-up Instructions
Please sign up for one morning and/or one afternoon session.  A few classes are limited in size.  Registering early is a good thing to do!  Classes will fill on first come first serve basis.If a scout wishes to purchase a lunch please contact Thomas Newsom at thomasjnewsom@gmail.com with the scouts name and whether they want a one or two hot dog lunch.
