Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Description
Webelos scouts may sign up for two adventure classes (one morning and one afternoon).   







Sign in starts at 9:00 a.m.



Session 1 - 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.



Lunch break - 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.



Session 2 - 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.



LUNCH:  Hot Dog Meal will be provided for Webelos and their families.  A hot dog meal includes a hot dog, chips, lemonade or water, and cookie(s). In order to make sure we have enough, we do need an RSVP.  Please send an e-mail to troop191tx@gmail.com with the Scout's name and number of one-hot dog meals and/or two-hot dog meals.



Each Den/Pack needs to have at least one adult for every five Scouts at all times.



Requirements will be checked off individually and must be earned.  Any Scout not participating in a requirement activity will not be given credit for the requirement.



Parents/leaders, please understand that the class may move at a fairly fast pace and the instructor will be limited in the amount of one-on-one attention given.  If you feel a child may need special attention, we encourage you to get involved in the activities to assist the child.  Our job is to help your child succesfully complete the requirements to earn the pin.



Attire:  Webelos are encouraged to wear their uniforms.



Webelos:  Please remember to follow the Scout Oath and Law!

Unit Sign-up Instructions
Please sign up for one morning and/or one afternoon session.  A few classes are limited in size.  Registering early is a good thing to do!  Classes will fill on first-come first-serve basis.  If there is a class your Scout(s) are interested in, please let me know immediately so we may do our best to provide it.  If a Scout (and family) wishes to have the hot dog meal provided by Troop 191, please send an e-mail to troop191tx@gmail.com with Scout's name and the number of one-hot dog meals and/or two-hot dog meals.  Meal include a hot dog, chips, water/lemonade, and cookie(s).



NOTE:  You may register here at this site, but we would prefer you contact us at troop191tx@gmail.com so we may e-mail you a registration form to send back to us.  The form assists us with the registration.



Every effort will be made to put the Scout in the desired time, but scouts may be moved.  Classes will fill on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If a Scout is only able to attend one class due to other obligations, please be sure to indicate AM or PM on the form.  Pease note:  Some of the classes may be dependent on the number of registered participants and/or instructor availability.

Payment Instructions for the Unit
No charge for classes.  If a Scout (and family) wishes to have the hot dog meal provided by Troop 191, please send an e-mail to troop191tx@gmail.com with Scout's name and the number of one-hot dog meals and/or two-hot dog meals.  Meals include a hot dog, chips, water/lemonade, and cookie(s).

By attending you grant BSA Troop 191 permission to take and use photographs of all adults and scouts unless we are told otherwise in writing.
