Counselor Information

Blue cards are not issued at this event.   Following the MBC, Troop Registrars will be emailed a list of requirements completed by their Scouts.

Although the classes have links to a merit badge web site, the official BSA merit badge site is our definitive source for current and past merit badge requirements, and we will work to make sure all counselors are working with those requirements.

Unit Sign-up Instructions

Each troop must designate one person from their Troop to act as registrar. This person must have a user ID and password on the registration web site to be able to enroll Scouts when registration opens. Every registrar must indicate Troop affiliation to be able to enroll Scouts, and each Troop must have at least one adult affiliated with their Troop on the web site before the site will permit the Troop to register Scouts.

Troops will be required to send 1 registered adult with Youth Protection Training for every 5 Scouts registered. These adults will be in the classrooms to provide administrative assistance and help maintain discipline.

Payment Instructions for the Unit

All fees are due no later than April 30, 2013. We reserve the right to drop all Scouts from any Troop that hasn't submitted full payment by this deadline. Troops should send in ONE check per unit.

Make checks payable to Frisco Troop 142. In the check memo field please put 'MBC' and your Troop number.

Mail checks to: Carolyn Kresek-Lis, 15634 Brookwood Drive, Frisco, TX 75035

RIGHT TO LIMIT OR CANCEL: Troop 142 reserves the right to limit or cancel any class. Merit Badges to be offered are subject to change based on MB Counselor availability and class minimums.
