Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Description

Troop 714 in Marietta, GA has been an active troop for over 40 years!  We have well qualified Merit Badge counselors and offer you an opportunity to learn from them.  



We will be having the merit badge clinic using the entire church building.  Parents may choose to sit in the fellowship hall or sit in on the clinics.  Wireless internet may be available, but it is not always reliable.

Sign-In Begins at 8:15 AM.  Some classes may end before 2:00.  Cost is $5 for each scout. All Merit Badge Counselors are registered adults with Youth Protection Training.

Each Scout Must Bring:



1.  Blue Cards signed by their unit's Scoutmaster.  Blue cards WILL NOT BE PROVIDED!

2.  Signed Permission Slip http://www.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/19-673.pdf

3.  Money for lunch (concessions will be available for purchase) or bag lunch

4.  Class A Uniform

5.  Pen and Paper to take notes

6.  Money to pay for class 



Please be sure to read the pre-requisites for each merit badge.  Not all merit badges will be completed on this one day.  Please be sure to read your Merit Badge Pamphlet and prepare for the class BEFORE you come!



Lunch Concessions Available: $3 for 1 slice pizza, 1 drink, 1 side (chips or cookies), with extras available - $1 for pizza, and 50 cents each for drink/chips/cookies. 



 



 
Counselor Information

T-714 will NOT be providing blue cards to scouts from other troops.  If the scout does not have a blue card, he will need to contact the counselor to obtain a syllabus of what was covered to present to his own scoutmaster and merit badge counselor.
