If you are having trouble registering scouts, carefully read the information on the help tab.
If you send an email that does not include the information we need to help you, it wastes time and will get promptly deleted.
Test drive the new site (in progress) at New Meritbadge.Info.Leave comments at our Facebook page.

Notice!!! Meritbadge.Info will switch to the new site with BSA validation Friday morning March 13th.

If you wish to start using this site today, click here to launch meritbadge.info/mbn2

Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

How will we do this?

What should you do?
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Third Annual Coe College Merit Badge Workshop.  Hosted by Troop #37, AOPII, Lambda Chi, and Sigma Nu Coe Chapters.

Come and enjoy learning on the Coe Campus!

WE ASK THAT EACH SCOUT ONLY TAKE 1 EAGLE REQUIRED MERIT BADGE!  This will help other scouts get the change to take eagle required merit badges also.

The Hawkeye Area Scout Shop will be set up in the upper lever of Gage Memorial Union.  They will open at 10 am and close at 5 pm.  Please inform your scouts and parents of this great chance to purchase items!!

Description

We will be offering morning and afternoon session of merit badge classes.  Troops will be asked to check in at Sinclair Auditorium from 7:15am to 7:45am.  A brief opening ceremony will be held at 7:50am and sessions will begin at 8am.  The afternoon sessions will begin at 1pm.  Each session will cost $10.  There are some sessions that will last all day.  These will cost $20.  All merit badges that will have field trips will be on campus for lunch.  There are a few merit badges that have extra material fees.

WE ASK THAT EACH SCOUT ONLY TAKE 1 EAGLE REQUIRED MERIT BADGE!

We have it set up so that you can prepay for your lunch.  The cost will be $7.00.  This is for all you can eat in the college cafeteria from 11 am to 1 pm. You will need to sign up on the website for the lunch vouchers.  You will receive the vouchers in your registration packet.  If you did not sign up for lunch and decide that you would like to eat at Coe, you can purchase a voucher at the food voucher table in Sinclair.  We would like to try to keep this at a minumim to insure that we have enough food to go around.  The college will be planning on the pre-paid count.  To sign up for lunch vouchers, please use the food entry.

This year's menu is hot dogs, spaghetti pasta bar, deli sandwich bar, salad bar, beverage bar (milk, pop, and coffee), pepperoni and cheese pizza, desserts (fruit, cookies, and bars), chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, mac/cheese and ham, and a variety of veggies.

Counselor Information

Once your troop's registration fees have been recieved, you will be emailed a packet of information.  We ask that you have a contact person that will be attending the work shop.  We will need their phone number for emergencies.  We would also ask that all release forms be turned in to the registration table.

**Some merit badge sessions will be taking field trips.  We will need volunteers to help with transportation of scouts.  If your troop has scouts signed up, please be ready to help with travel.

ONCE YOUR TROOP HAS SIGNED UP, PLEASE SEND A LIST OF ADULT VOLUNTEERS TO CYNTHIA.  We are a small troop and need at least one adult in each session.  It is CRITICAL to the success that you have adults that will sit in sessions.

Unit Sign-up Instructions

If your scout's first choice is not available, please sign your scout up for their second choice.  Please let Cynthia know what merit badge your scout would like and she will inform you if a place opens.  Or just keep checking back!

WE ASK THAT EACH SCOUT ONLY TAKE 1 EAGLE REQUIRED MERIT BADGE!  This will help other scouts get the change to take eagle required merit badges also.

Please make sure that each scout brings a notebook, merit badge worksheets, pen or pencil, and all prerequisites.  These will be discussed during the sessions.  We also ask that each scout read the merit badge book before attending.

There will not be any refunds after April 2nd!  The deadline for having registration fees turned in is April 2nd.  There will be a $5 late fee per scouts after that date.
