Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

BSA Radio Merit Badge Class



The Kennehoochee Amateur Radio Club and the Atlanta Amateur Radio Club will be holding their 89th annual Hamfest at the Cobb County Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Parkway SE, Marietta, GA 30060.



A hamfest is an event similar to a flea market for Amateur (Ham) Radio Operators. There will be booths set up selling and demonstrating new and used ham radio equipment. The event will be attended by Amateur Radio Operators from around the southeastern US.



Besides selling equipment, there are demonstrations of amateur equipment and forums related to the hobby.



All Scouts and Scouters wearing their Class A Uniform will be admitted to Jim R Miller Park for free.  FAMILY MEMBERS ACCOMPANYING SCOUTS ARE ALSO ADMITTED FOR FREE.

Unit Sign-up Instructions
Scouts and Scouters are required to wear Class A Uniforms for admission. Failure to wear the uniform will mean that you will be required to pay the standard cost of admission to the event. Entrance Fee is $6. Scouts, please bring a signed Blue Card to the event. All requirements for the Radio Merit Badge will be completed in one day.



Please read the Radio Merit Badge Pamphlet and do the work in the Radio Merit Badge worksheet and bring it to the class.
Payment Instructions for the Unit
Entrance to the hamfest will be free to Scouts in Class A Uniforms and their family. The normal entrance fee to the hamfest is $8 but the entrance fee is waived. 



 
Directions to the Event
The Radio Merit Badge Class will be held at the Cobb County Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Parkway SE, Marietta, GA 30060. Class begins promptly at 8:30 am so please arrive early for class.



Scouts participating in the class should bring a lunch. Lunches can also be purchased at the snack bar from food vendors. If you have special dietary requirements, they may not be able to be met with the snack bars available on site.
