Sponsor Information
“Leadership, responsibility, and friendships to last a life time.”

These values aren’t just taught at Junior Leader Training, they’re practiced. JLT offers scouts (young and old) the opportunity to learn how to be a leader, as well as have a great time.

-Orientation: For early scouts, which focuses on basic skills. (camp fire building, cooking, tent making, etc.) Scouts camp with other first year scouts from their troop.

-JLT: For experienced scouts that focuses mainly on the 11 Leadership Skill both in classes and practical experience. They camp in patrols with Scouts from other troops. This provides them with new leadership opportunities.

-Advanced JLT: Last level of scout training. Participants work on applying the skills learned in JLT while wilderness camping. They are also challenged with a unique pioneering project.

-Adult: Training for adults. Teaches affective ways to be leaders in their troops by using Scoutmaster Fundamentals.
