Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.
We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.
Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info. Let others in your unit know they should do the same. We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

The annual Marion Merit Badge workshop will be held at Excelsior Middle School in Marion, Iowa. The workshop will be hosted by Troops 89 and 555. We look forward to offering this opportunity for area scouts.

Description |
|
Please register scouts for the merit badge class they wish to attend. All badges are for the full day but some badges have more than one session available; please select only one. Please check the website to see if classes have been added; if classes have changes or deletions, we will contact those affected. Cost is $15/scout for payments postmarked by 10/26/15; the cost is $20/scout for payments postmarked after 10/26/15.
If you would like to pre-order an on-site meal, please select the session "On-site Meal" when registering. Those pre-ordering the on-site meal will receive meal tickets with their registration packet the morning of the event. A limited number of on-site meal tickets will be available the day of the event. On-site lunch is $6/person (both scouts & adults). Additional snacks & refreshments will be available for purchase during the event.

NOTE: EACH MERIT BADGE LASTS ALL DAY. If there are multiple sessions (classes) of a badge listed, that means we are offering more than one opportunity for scouts to participate in a specific merit badge. When registering a scout, you will notice that some badges list a 1 or 2 behind "All Day" under Session; this is the same class, just more than one session is being offered. If one is full, please select the next one.
Troops 89 and 555 reserve the right to limit, cancel or make changes to the merit badge classes based on scout and/or merit badge counselor availability.
A facility map & designated room numbers will be provided in your registration packet the day of the event.

Payment Instructions for the Unit |

The cost is $15/scout for payments postmarked by 10/26/15 (those postmarked after 10/26 will be $20/scout). Additional fees for specific merit badge classes & supplies are listed where applicable. Payment should be sent with your troop's printed online registration form. Be sure to keep a copy of your registration form for your troop.
Those wishing to pre-order an on-site meal should add the session "On-site Meal" when registering and include in the check with the registration fees; those pre-ordering the meal will receive meal tickets with their registration packets the day of the event. The price is $6/person.
