Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

A weekend event dedicated to conservation and learning, while working toward earning the William T. Hornaday Awards.

 
Description
We will offer 18 of the Hornaday Award Merit badges (including all six of the required merit badges) and Scouts will have the opportunity to enroll in up to three merit badges from our dynamic instructors.  This weekend is being offered to scouts 12 years or older by November 13 2020.

The event will include a Hornaday Seminar explaining the award and how to earn it for Troops, Crews, and individual Scouts. And most importantly, information on how to create, execute, and document a Hornaday Award Conservation Project.

Early bird registration for scouts is $75 until May 30, 2020, then $90 afterwards.  Adults staying with the scouts on property will be charged a flat cost of $55 for the weekend.

We are also offering Leave No Trace training during the weekend.  Early bird registration fee is $55 before May 30, then $75 afterwards.

All adult attendees must have be current on their YPT certification - no exemptions.  All attendees must provide their BSA Medical Parts A&B forms upon check-in.The fees cover food, patch and a participant tshirt.  If you wish to promote the event, please click for the flyer.

Unit Sign-up Instructions

Units / scout registrants outside the Atlanta Area council will have to create an AAC Tentaroo account. Local AAC units that wish to sign up, please use your respective unit login information.  If you are having difficulties with registration log-in into Tentaroo, please contact Veronica Bramlett ( Veronica.Bramlett@scouting.org ) at the AAC Volunteer Service Center.

Merit badges are offered to scouts 12 years of age by November 13. Merit badge counselors have requested this as the minimum age for classes. 



Registration will close midnight October 30, EST - NO EXEMPTIONS. Online cancellations allowed until October 13th.



 

Payment Instructions for the Unit
Payment for the weekend is thru Tentaroo.  Local AAC units have a Unit account already set up for Tentaroo. If you are registering just for yourself and a family member, an individual Tentaroo account must be set up.

Out of council participants, must set up a AAC Tentaroo account for both registration and payment.
