Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Logistics:
1)\tab Shower house, latrine and kitchen areas will need to be maintained. \par
2)\tab Cooking/clean up responsiblities will be rotated for age appropriate duties under \tab adult \tab supervision.\par
3)\tab A fire watch plan and duty roster will rotate daily.\par
4)\tab Any remaining produce after camp will need to be taken home.\par
5)\tab Clean up of the camp site and facilities used on the 3rd will be much easier with daily \tab inspections preceding.\par
Camp schedule support:\par
1)\tab We need to maintain 2 deep adult leadership, 24/7.\par
2)\tab Depending on adult availability each day, assistance will be valuable in managing the \tab program schedule. For zip lining, canoing, etc., we need a couple of more adults.\par
3)\tab For daily cooking and clean up we will need one or more adults to assistance.\par
4)\tab Food will be stored at the kitchen, but whatever food and beverages need to be kept \tab at the camp site is appropriate as well.\par
