Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.
We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.
Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info. Let others in your unit know they should do the same. We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Description |

The annual Marion Merit Badge workshop will be held at Excelsior Middle School in Marion, Iowa. The workshop will be hosted by Marion troops 89 and 555.
Please register your scouts for the class they want. If their first choice is not available, you may want to check back to see if there have been any deletions or changes. If multiple sessions are offered of a particular badge and session 1 is full, choose another session to see if there's a spot there.
If you want a meal deal, choose session "Meal Deal" when registering. If you choose this option, you receive a voucher that will be collected at lunch. The price is $6.
Room assignments will be posted closer to the event. There will be no walk-ins or changes the day of the event. Additional pre-requisites may be added.

NOTE: EACH SESSION LASTS ALL DAY. If there are multiple sessions (classes) of a badge, when registering a scout, you may need to choose session 2 or 3 beside the course name, if the others are full of that badge. To register, it will only show those classes that are still available under session 1, 2 or 3 (please take note of which session one you’re looking under; session 1 is default).
The cost will be $15 per person and the payment should be sent with your troop's printed online registration form. Payments should be postmarked by November 1st. Be sure to keep a copy of your registration form for yourself. (Room numbers will be added closer to the event).
