Description

This is Troop 143's 4th annual merit badge clinic and will be held at our charter institution, Johns Creek UMC in Johns Creek, GA.  We are offering 10 merit badges and Red Cross CPR certification.  Each course is 4-hours and is offered twice during the day:  (1) 8am- 12pm, and (2) 1pm - 5pm.  The idea is that you can sign up for two different courses, one in each session, if you like.  Or you can just sign up for one merit badge in one session.


Cost for the merit badge sessions is $5 per session.  Cost for the CPR certification course is $25. 


Lunch is on your own from 12-1 pm.  There are a number of fast food restaurants nearby, or you can bring your own lunch.  There are soft drink vendoring machines in the building.


Please wear your Class A uniform (no sashes required), bring any pre-requisite work requested by the counselor, bring your merit badge book, a notepad and a pencil or pen.


 
Counselor Information
Counselors:  Blue Cards will be printed up for all scouts signed up for your course.  They will be provided to you on the morning of the clinic.  Please pick them up during morning registration from Emily Haynes.  Make sure that all blue cards are signed off for the completed items prior to dismissing the class.

Cost/ Scout:  $5.00 / 1 class;  $10.00/ 2 classes;  $25.00 (CPR Certification)

Directions to the Event

1)  Go North on Medlock Bridge Rd. (GA 141) 


2)  Turn Right - Bell Rd.


3)  Take 1st Left - into the Johns Creek UMC parking lot. Turn right immediately.


4)  Go to right end of building.  Park


5)  Enter 3-story building, right set of doors.  Go upstairs to 2nd floor. 


6)  Registration - Room 207.
