Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

CLOSED Sessions: IOLS - Part 1 AND Part 2

Please note that the IOLS Parts I and II courses are FULL.  We are unable to accept walk-ins for IOLS.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Dress code: Class A uniform is required if you are in a Troop or Crew leadership role.  Committee Members are an exception but encouraged to wear Class A if they have one.

Description
Adult Leadership Trainings are held at Merit Badge Adventure, a Boy Scout day event.  

Merit Badge Adventure = NO Walk ins because Merit Badge Adventure is FULL.

Adult Leadership Training = YES, Except for IOLS, walk-ins permitted until all 30 seats in any course are filled. 



Merit Badge Adventure is FULL, so it is CLOSED for registration.

Adult Leadership Trainings is OPEN for registration, except IOLS which is FULL.



Registration:  You may register one of three ways:


  1. Email to Seneca.MBA@gmail.com with 'TRAINING' in the Subject heading.  Inside email provide: Name, Troop/Crew number, Training you want to take.

  2. Online Registration here -  Follow the Orientation to Online Registration pdf to get started using this title: Seneca District ADULT LEADERSHIP TRAINING AT Merit Badge Adventure 2015 - Midlakes High School.  (There are two listing for Seneca District so watch the first five words please.)

  3. Paper method, using the "DAY of TRAINING at MB Adventure form" and getting it to the Seneca Waterways Service Center.


(These are listed in order of how fast one is first come, first served with email being the BEST, FASTEST method.)



This system is set up to do together as a Troop/ Crew.  Whomever registers first BECOMES the Troop/ Crew representative.  If you find another ahead of you, please email Seneca.MBA@gmail.com with the necessary info and she will add you to the Troop/Crew roster and inform you of whom is the Troop/ Crew Rep.  Payment can be made individually or together as a Troop/Crew using the Day of Training MB Adventure Form. Payment is acceptable at the door, in either check or cash.  (Credit cards not accepted at the door.)



Pre-ordered lunch (additional $5.00) were part of Merit Badge Adventure which is now CLOSED.  We do sell leftovers for $1.00/slice, $1.00/drink or $5.00/ meal.  Those that have not eaten will be given priority over those that are coming back for seconds.  (Please be aware, food can run out and Midlakes is in the middle of nowhere.  The corner gas station Byrne Dairy is currently under construction.)

Payment Instructions for the Unit
"DAY of TRAINING at MB Adventure Form"  must  be included with ALL payment transactions to Seneca Waterways Council Service Center to ensure no mishaps of payment records occurs.  (Scout Shop no long accepts event payments since the opening of our new Council Service Center in June 2014.)



Payments not made by 6 pm Tuesday, November 17 must be paid in person at the door.

Using the payment form above, payments (cash, check or credit card) can be made to Seneca Waterways Council Service Center (Scout Office)  as follows:  In person,  By fax,  By snail mail or at the door.
