Session #3 classes are for sign-offs only. Scouts will meet with merit badge counselors and must show evidence that they've satisfied all of the requirements. There will be no instruction during this period.
or
Scouts can sign-up for the Scouting Heritage merit badge class. It will meet in the Coronado H.S. auditorium from 4-6pm, with break-out sessions after an initial multimedia presentation. Scouts attending Scouting Heritage should consider attending AdventureBase100 (www.adventurebase100.org), over the Labor Day weekend in Denver, to satisfy requirement #4.
The uniform of the day is the BSA Field Uniform, also known as "Class A."
Lunch (between 11:30am-12:30pm) will consist of pizza, cookies, apple & soda, included in registration fee.
The following are combined merit badge classes: 1) Dog Care/Veterinary Medicine 2) Crime Prevention/Fingerprinting 3) Gardening/Landscape Architecture
The following classes will be nearby, but offsite: A. Gardening/Landscape Architecture - at the Colorado Springs Utilities, Xeriscape Demonstration Garden and Conservation Training Facility. B. Energy - at the Colorado Springs Utilities, Conservation Training Facility. C. Public Health - at the Colorado Springs Utilities, Conservation Training Facility and Mesa Water Treatment Plant. |
